Hospitality is one of the core values of Benedictine spirituality. One way we live out this value is by providing tours of Holy Wisdom Monastery. Tour our sustainable monastery building, opened in August 2009. Visitors will learn about:
- Geothermal heating and cooling
- Renewable resources
- Daylighting
- Photovoltaic cells
- Rain gardens
- Pervious concrete
- Green roofs
- Solar tubes and much more!
We have scheduled monthly tours and self-guided tours available for a suggested donation of $5 per person. Groups of 15 or more can schedule a tour at their convenience as well.
