Middleton Community Orchestra's Winter Concert

Middleton Performing Arts Center
The Middleton Community Orchestra's Winter Concert features three works: John Henry by Aaron Copland, Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky and Schelomo by Ernest Bloch, with cello soloist Jordan Allen. Jordan Allen began playing the cello at the age of 10 in his native Wisconsin. He has performed in many venues throughout the United States and Canada, including Carnegie Hall. Currently a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a winner of the Collins Distinguished Graduate Fellowship, he plays with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and teaches in the Madison area.
Tickets are $10 for general admission. Students and retirement home residents are free. Tickets are available at the door and at Willy St. Coop West.

Third Wine Walk

The Downtown Middleton Business Association (DMBA) will host its Third Wine Walk. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, April 12th. Guests will start the evening at a location (TBD) where they will receive a wine glass and a list of wines that will be featured at each location. Guests visit each participating business to enjoy one oz. of a red wine, one oz. of a white wine, and some delicious appetizers. Each event has sold out in just days, so get your tickets early.

Russian Gala Festival Concert

Live concert of Russian and East European folk music performed on authentic Russian folk instruments, balalaikas and domras. International artists, small ensembles, soloists, singers, dancers, and a 100-member balalaika orchestra! The concert is part of the 34th annual BDAA (Balalaika and Domra Association of America) convention.
